What makes a useful correction

If you're reporting a licensing rule we've gotten wrong or a wage figure that's off, the fastest turnaround happens when you include:

  • The URL of the page with the issue
  • The specific field that's wrong (e.g., "exam cost for CNA in Texas says $125 but should be $115")
  • A source link to the authoritative figure (ideally the state's own page)

We'll cross-check against the source you cite, update the data, and thank you for catching it.

Where to go for case-specific questions

CertOutlook publishes structured data — licensing requirements, fees, exam routes, and BLS wage figures — pulled from each state's official licensing board and the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. For case-specific decisions like reciprocity between two states, application status, or eligibility under a unique situation, the state licensing board is the authoritative source. We link each board directly from its profession-and-state page so you can reach them in one click.

Most messages get a reply within 2 business days. Data corrections that require verification against state sources may take up to a week to process.
