To become a licensed Dental Hygienist in North Dakota, applicants must graduate from a CODA-accredited dental hygiene program, pass the National Board Dental Hygiene Examination (NBDHE), a regional clinical exam (CRDTS, WREB, SRTA, CITA, ADEX), and the North Dakota Jurisprudence Exam. A criminal history record check and current CPR certification are also required. North Dakota offers licensure by credential for experienced dental hygienists licensed in other states with substantially equivalent requirements.
