To become a Notary Public in Wyoming, applicants must be at least 18 years old and meet residency requirements. They need to review the Notary Education Presentation from the Wyoming Secretary of State or complete an approved vendor course, and then pass the associated exam. The application, along with a $60 fee, is submitted to the Wyoming Secretary of State, who is the licensing body. Wyoming notaries can perform notarial acts in Montana if Montana recognizes their authority.
