route How to become a real estate agent in Missouri
To become a Real Estate Agent in Missouri, you must first complete 72 hours of approved pre-licensing education, consisting of a 48-hour pre-exam course and a 24-hour Missouri Real Estate Practice (MREP) course. After completing the education, you must pass the Missouri Real Estate Salesperson Exam. Finally, you will need to submit an application to the Missouri Real Estate Commission, which includes a background check with fingerprinting. Missouri offers partial reciprocity, requiring out-of-state licensees to complete the 24-hour MREP course and pass the state-specific portion of the exam.
