route How to become a surgical technologist in New Hampshire
To become a Surgical Technologist in New Hampshire, state licensure is not required. However, most employers require national certification through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA). Candidates must graduate from a CAAHEP or ABHES-accredited surgical technology program or complete military surgical-technician training to be eligible for the CST exam. The CST certification must be renewed every two years by completing 30 continuing education credits and paying a renewal fee.
