To become a licensed Barber in Wyoming, you must complete a 1000-hour training program at a state-approved barber school (or 1250 hours for a barber-stylist) or a 1600-hour apprenticeship. After completing your education, you must pass the NIC computer-based theory exam and a hands-on practical exam administered by the Wyoming Board of Barber Examiners.
